It's truly the story of my life. The Villian. If I had stepchildren, I would most certainly be the wicked step mother. Good thing we don't live in Kansas. They'd have another Wicked Witch of the East on their hands. I found out last night from Mother-In-Law to be that BF's sister thinks I'm the Villian. Well, that's not what she said, but that's what it all means. "I don't like his girlfriend," she said. "It's all her fault." BF is apparently just some bumbling guy, innocent in this whole thing.
The fact is, we're both innocent. BF's sister would NOT have made such a big deal of this whole thing if she wasn't in on the scam. Who gets "junk mail" sent through UPS next day air? No one. This always happens to me. Somehow I'm implicated in villianous activity and EVERYONE believes it. Few don't, and those are the few I still associate with. I miss having a big family, but what I have left, I love with all my heart. They're wonderful.
I guess I'll always be the Villian in some way to someone. At least there are a few people that don't believe the ridiculous lies.
In other news, Christmas was great. I made an amazing prime rib and appetizers and bread. It was all delicious. Next year, since BF's sister is out of the picture, we'll have a tree and gifts and goodies and the works. I'm excited.
Now on to THE WEDDING.
